Millions will be condemned to ‘dire’ broadband

You will have to forgive me for only posting the link and not summarising the article within these pages.  The decision today not to breakup BT from the OPEN REACH part of the business will have consequences for many people in the UK, especially those in more remote and rural parts of the UK.

It is worth taking 5 minutes to read abut the significance of this decision.  For me it only goes on to enforce that what we are doing with B4RN is the only way forward to ensure the future needs of rural communities are met without being held to ransom.  In my opinion this will put independent networks, such as B4RN 10-20 years ahead of the curve, and even that could be a conservative estimate.
